Abstract


Luka kronik merupakan cedera kulit berkepanjangan yang menimbulkan gangguan fisik, psikologis, aktivitas sehari-hari, dan finansial. Faktor demografi dan karakteristik luka dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kualitas hidup pasien luka kronik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas hidup pasien luka kronik di RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. Penelitian merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner Wound-QoL 17 item dengan nilai validitas 0.44 – 0.72 dan Cronbach’s Alpha 0.91.  Sampel penelitian melibatkan 189 pasien luka kronik dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data secara deskriptif univariat dengan interpretasi tingginya skor menandakan tingkat kualitas hidup pasien semakin rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas pasien berusia 40-65 tahun (65,6%), perempuan (65,1%), pendidikan terakhir SMP/SMA (59,7%), finansial rendah (58,7%), dan memiliki jenis luka kanker (30,2%). Sebanyak 59,2% pasien memiliki kualitas hidup rendah dengan rerata skor domain psikologis (3,02), kehidupan sehari-hari (2,52), finansial (2,42), dan fisik (2,34). Domain psikologis merupakan domain dengan tingkat kesejahteraan terendah disebabkan peningkatan emosi negatif dan ketidakadaptifan koping pasien. Sedangkan domain fisik merupakan domain dengan tingkat kesejahteraan tertinggi disebabkan perbedaan gejala luka yang dialami pasien. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan intervensi pada pasien dengan/berisiko mengalami masalah psikologis bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koping. Peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat menganalisis terkait hubungan karakteristik responden dengan kualitas hidup pasien dengan luka kronik.
