PENGARUH DISTRAKSI VIRTUAL REALITY TERHADAP PERUBAHAN TEKANAN DARAH ANAK SAAT PROSEDUR ANESTESI MENGGUNAKAN JET INJEKTOR

Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kecemasan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan tekanan darah. Anak-anak sering merasa cemas saat dilakukan perawatan gigi khususnya saat prosedur anestesi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan anestesi identik dengan jarum yang bisa menimbulkan rasa nyeri. Alat anestesi tanpa jarum atau jet injektor telah dikembangkan untuk anestesi lokal. Jet injektor dianggap bisa mengurangi rasa nyeri saat anestesi, namun suara, bentuk, dan tekanan yang ditimbulkan jet injektor bisa meningkatkan kecemasan anak. Salah satu cara yang bisa digunakan untuk mengatasi kecemasan anak saat dilakukan prosedur anestesi adalah dengan distraksi virtual reality. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh distraksi virtual reality terhadap perubahan tekanan darah anak saat prosedur anestesi menggunakan jet injektor. Metode Penelitian: Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental dengan pre and posttest nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 anak dibagi menjadi dua kelompok secara acak, 15 anak dilakukan anestesi menggunakan jet injektor dengan distraksi virtual reality dan 15 anak dilakukan anestesi menggunakan jet injektor tanpa distraksi virtual reality. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengukur tekanan darah anak sebelum dan saat prosedur anestesi menggunakan jet injektor. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent T-test. Hasil: Terdapat pengaruh distraksi virtual reality terhadap perubahan tekanan darah anak saat prosedur anestesi menggunakan jet injektor sesuai dengan hasil analisis data Independent T-test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p<0,05. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh distraksi virtual reality terhadap perubahan tekanan darah anak saat prosedur anestesi menggunakan jet injektor.
